2008 the Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is published with a new name, BMB Reports. The BMB Reports is published monthly by Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Copyright is reserved by the Society. The journal contain rather shorter articles and more mini reviews and it is published monthly. By doing so, we expect that such new journal format will deliver the new scientific findings and knowledge to our readers in fast and timely manner. This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies Grant funded by the Korean Government (MEST). And printed by MEDrang Inc., 448-13, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul 121-841, Korea. BMB Reports is indexed in MEDLINE/PubMedTM, Index Medicus, SCOPUS^® Science Citation Index Expanded^TM, Biochemistry-Biophysics Citation Index^®, Research Alert, and Chemical Abstracts^®.

Aims and Scope

BMB Reports is an international journal devoted to the very rapid dissemination of timely and significant results in diverse fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. Novel findings in the area of genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, and systems biology are also considered for publication. For speedy publication of novel knowledge, we aim to offer a first decision to the authors in less than 3 weeks from the submission date.
BMB Reports is published by Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The journal is indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed, Index Medicus, Science Citation Index Expanded, SCOPUS, Biochemistry-Biophysics Citation Index, Research Alert, and Chemical Abstracts.

Subscription Information

BMB Reports is being launched as a fully online journal since January 2013. All research articles published in BMB Reports are immediately freely available to read, download and share.
The BMB Reports has twelve issues a year.
